RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To create websites based on the requirements and designs selected by the customer. This includes converting designs to XHTML and making them templates for the CMS we are using.
• Analyzes website requirements and finds suitable components to be used on the customer website; if no such components exist then he/she modifies and/or creates such components.
• Inserts customer content in the CMS and makes sure that the website is Search Engine Friendly and optimized, ready to be advertised and promoted online.
• Implements and solves customer complaints / requests / additions to the website and upgrades and maintains the websites once they have gone live.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and PHP, and MySQL.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks for the website designs.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver or similar software.
• Excellent knowledge of modern web design practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous experience (at least two years OR one year as a freelancer) in web design/web development.
• Previous experience with working and creating components for at least one CMS (preferably Joomla).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Adobe Flash.
• Adobe Illustrator.
• Javascript and working with any of the current libraries like Mootools, jQuery, Prototype etc.
• Web Design skills.

REMUNERATION: Expected salary based on qualifications.
